  1. This statement is troublesome. Every genre has variance in quality. There's a lot of low-effort power metal, bands with awful singers or shitty production. Power metal is an easy genre to do, but a hard one to do without being formulaic and repetitive. Like, if every power metal album is a 5/5 or /5 in your eyes, a 5/5 means nothing.
