3. This is chilling stuff, but the coldness seems to befit Queen. On side two, the group lolls through a series of songs about sexual failure (hers!), stardom and ennui as they make a mildly persuasive argument for boredom as the proper posture prior to the apocalypse. Late sons of the Empire though they may be, Queen has nothing to fear, or to do.

4. From my favorite Queen album, News of the World, they used a John Deacon song, Spread Your Wings, Roger Taylor's Sheer Heart Attack, and two of Brian's tracks Sleeping on the Sidewalk and It's Late. It's a shame that they didn't opt for a Mercury-penned song like /5(50).

7. Spread Your Wings, a John Deacon ballad from the News Of The World album was a minor hit in February The video for the song was recorded in the grounds of Roger's newly bought Surrey home, which was still housing it's previous owners at the time.
